Safety Awards

Bruner Corporation’s record commitment to workplace safety has resulted in a number of prestigious industry awards and participation in the BX/OSHA Partnership Program. Our strong employee involvement and robust training programs have helped to create a distinguished safety record that significantly out performs industry standards year after year.

BX Safety Achievement Awards

While many companies are evaluated for the BX Safety Achievement Awards, only a few actually meet the stringent criteria to receive this honor.

Companies receiving this award are judged on their injury and illness statistics, including OSHA and workers’ compensation rates for their specific Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code. They are also judged during an unannounced, onsite safety visit from a BX team of judges who evaluate the company’s written safety program, site-specific plan, MSDS forms, fall protection, excavations, electrical areas, personal protective equipment, ladders, housekeeping and other administrative concerns.

BX Safety Innovation Awards

An award for “thinking creatively out-side of the box” in our approach to improving the occupational safety and health of all employees.

BX / OSHA Partnership Program

Bruner is proud of its program participation. Members are required to have written safety programs that incorporate standards from multiple resources, specific training requirements, no OSHA violations for three years and OSHA statistics at or below BLS national averages for their industry.

Engineered Systems Award

Bruner Corporation and its Summit Chase Condominium Renovation project were named runner-up in the “Fast Track/Teamwork Projects” category in a national competition sponsored by Engineered Systems, a national trade publication.
