Sales Representative – HVAC Service

Job Purpose: 

You will be a hunter, differentiating Bruner’s services and products from competitors to secure new business opportunities; sell preventative maintenance agreements and special projects in the commercial, institutional and industrial market segments in emerging markets. Identify opportunities to expand acquired customer relationships. 

You will be selling Bruner’s excellence of service and widely recognized quality of work to clients throughout the Central Ohio area.

Primary Job Duties:
 
Establish realistic but aggressive customer acquisition strategy to successfully execute key prospect plans and tactics.
Build valuable customer relationships; penetrate accounts; identify opportunities to expand existing and new customer relationships.  Renew existing accounts prior to contract expiration.
Assume total ownership of accelerating the sale process including lead generation, cost analysis, pricing and quote process, "quarterbacks" proposal development, and closes the sell reaching optimal profit level  
Understand and proactively analyze the customer’s business plan and financial position to builds business case for specific product/service using cost-benefit analysis to contribute value to a customer’s current and future needs and creates a mutually beneficial partnership.
Work collaboratively with all functional groups (i.e., Service Operations, Marketing, Business Development) and team members to partner with customer
Achieve new business sales quota in annualized contracts of approximately $5 million 
Routinely inform Sales Management about progress and pertinent developments regarding account acquisition and opportunities. 
Update Salesforce.com to record of sales related leads, contacts, referrals, designs, estimates, proposals, inspections etc.
Take responsibility for continuous self-development in order to grow technical knowledge and refine sales skills; stay abreast of market needs; enhance leadership and professional effectiveness.  

Knowledge, Skills and Education Qualifications:

At least 3 5 years selling intangible services to executive level prospects 
Business Acumen
Accelerating the Sale
Strategic Value Selling and Account Development
Presentations and proposal development and delivery
College Degree required - BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Mechanical Engineering preferred
Knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration and controls, helpful

•      Imposes rigorous standards of excellence upon thinking; formulates clear and precise questions regarding a problem; assesses assumptions, test conclusions against relevant criteria and standard

•      Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
•      Salesforce.com
